Browne Lake
- Location: Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada
Browne Lake is a nice little lake to go fly fishing. Has 2 out houses and a few picnic tables. There's a non maintained forestry camping ground and they only ask you limit your stay to no more then 2 weeks. Using a light green olive chronomids or black crystal flash leech if your trolling. The fish are smaller now since they allow ice fishing for the past 5 years. But there are still a few 2lb to 3lb rainbows to be caught. Beware that there are Grizzly bears in this area as its in there migration area. They travel from big white area to this area often. So make sure you have a clean campsite and not leave attracting waste food laying around or you may find yourself being desert after.
Access to Browne Lake via hwy 33 turnoff to hydraulic lake(aka McCullough lake) or via McCullough rd.
